at least the plates fit.

I had to use the Rego office kerb and a brick to bend my plates to fit on the rear of my car :P

I had to carefully whip out he measuring tape and center the plate perfectly and drill ...wait for it... TWO HOLES OMG!!!. I'm a perfectionist that way. why cant the holes just line up. Luckily in Alberta you alway keep the same plate when you change cars so on my next JDM car the bolts line up perfectly. pat on the back job well done.

what I hate is when they use one of the plate holes and just drill out 1 hole the plate will always be 1/2" of to one side. UNACCEPTABLE!

Are you listening Bird? This is important advice

I really didn't even think of drilling just one hole...I was considering fabricating adaptor brackets...

Folding the corners did cross my mind...if you haven't seen our posts click the 'Imported From Japan' tag to see more about the car.
